Batteries - change ‘em and charge ‘em

Batteries are a crucial item for climbers, and it’s easy to overlook them when packing in a hurry for a trip. Be sure to change out or fully charge all needed batteries well before you leave for your adventure. For many climbers, this will mean 4 items - headlamp, GPS, digital camera, and cell phone.

Tip - try to buy electronics that take the same size battery, such as AAA. This lets you swap batteries between, say, your GPS and headlamp if needed.
