Cost Plus World Market, at NW 23rd and Burnside, sells olive oil, vinegar, hot sauce (Tabasco), maple syrup, Nutella and other food items like sausage, crackers and cheese in small packages that work really well for climbing, hiking and backpacking. Leave the outer packaging at home, to save on weight and space. The European-style rye bread is especially yummy, and it doesn’t get squashed like other types of bread. They also have small sizes of candy (I especially like the sour Jelly Bellys), really good European chocolate, and even small bottles or cans of some very nice wines.
