DIY - New grips for your hiking poles“I have an old pair of hiking poles with plastic grips. Hard, cold in the winter and slipper from sweat in the summer. After my son had his tennis racket re-gripped it hit me - do the same to the plastic grips on my poles. I bought a single tennis grip, cut it in half and it worked great to cover both poles. I used black electrical tape to hold it in place. Soft, warm in the winter and absorbs sweat in the summer. I can also change it out when it wears out and all kinds of colors are available.” This tip was submitted by Mazama Joe Van Domelen
