Duffle bag at the crag
If you’re heading to a local crag for a day of rock climbing, consider carrying a duffel bag inside your pack. Use the duffle for gear if you are staying in one area for a while. Rather than repeatedly diving into your top loading pack for gear, jacket, lunch, water, just glance into the duffle and grab what you need. The duffle also doubles as a good rope bag.
