Sleeping bag liners
For extra warmth and a lot cleaner sleeping bag, use a bag liner. They are easy to sew out of flannel or light cotton, or just purchase one. They add warmth and life to your bag by helping retain the loft that can be lost when sweat and body oils work their way into the bag. Rather than washing your entire bag, just toss the liner in the wash. These are especially good when trekking (Peru, Nepal) or for really long trips.
