Welcome to Mazamas climbing! Mountaineering is the main Mazama activity. A few important things to know . .
- All our climbs are open to members and non-members.
- We have climbs for all abilities - from beginner through advanced levels.
- You do not need to take any of our classes as prerequisites for a climb.
- Important - You need to have appropriate experience for the climb you which are applying. The Mazamas are not a guiding service. If you want to climb and have no experience, there are excellent guiding companies in the area that will be happy to provide instruction, some gear, and a chance for a summit. See the Oregon guiding companies link for more info on professional guiding services.
