Museum and Archives

The Mazamas have a large collection of both historical climbing equipment and archival documents and photographs.  This collection is open for research to Mazama members and by the public.  Please contact us at the Mazamas Mountaineering Center if you wish to make an appointment to view these historical collections.

The Mazamas welcome the donation of historically important climbing and outdoors equipment, as well as archival documents and photos relating to mountaineering in the Pacific Northwest.  If you have such items and would like to donate them to the Mazamas, please contact our office and we will be glad to connect you with our archives experts who can offer further assistance.
