Publications

Mazamas have two main publications: a monthly Bulletin, and an Annual.

Monthly Bulletin
The Mazama monthly bulletin is sent to all current members around the first of each month. It contains upcoming events, class application forms, successful climbers, evening program and hiking schedules, and more. Submissions are welcome, and paid advertising is accepted. Non Mazama members are welcome to subscribe to the bulletin for $15.00 per year.  Sample copies are available for free from the Mazamas Mountaineering Center - just stop by or call us and ask for one.  Note that almost all Mazama activities are open to both members and non-members.  More on subscriptions, submission deadline, and advertising rates for the Mazama Bulletin

Mazama Annual
The Mazama Annual is our yearly publication. It contains a summary of all Mazamas events for the previous year. The Annual is mailed free to all current members. An archive of all past issues of the Mazama bulletins and Annual is available at our library in the Mazama Mountaineering Center. The Annual is usually mailed in March of each year.

Mazama Annual - Style Guide and Submission Suggestions
Submissions for the Annual are always welcome.  Note that the deadline for submissions to the Annual is Oct 1.  Please respect the enormous workload and tight time constraints of the Publications committee by adhering to this deadline.
