Hike Schedule - Nonmember(Identical to the member schedule but without leader home phone numbers, per our Privacy policy)
TIPS of the MONTH• Pre Hike to the Summit Program: Get in shape to Hike to the Summit. Conditioning hikes (designated Pre Hike to the Summit) are scheduled to prepare you for your climbs this summer. If you wish to sign up or have been accepted on one of our HTTS climbs, these hikes are designed for you! You can find the “Hike to the Summit” climbs (South Sister, Old Snowy, Mt St Helens) on the Mazama Web site at: http://www.mazamas.org/your/adventure/starts-here/C82/ Making the summit of one of these climbs will qualify you for Mazama membership! • Summer Hiking brings bugs and critters out in the woods. Remember your bug spray and bring plenty of water. Don’t forget hand-i-wipes for your legs, poles, etc. for poison oak after you return to your car. And…don’t feed the wild animals. • Check the website: Due to weather or trail head inaccessibility, some of the hikes might be changed at the last minute. The meeting time and place, however, will not change. Check the website for the most up to date information or call the leader in advance. • AYM is also hiking: Adventurous Young Mazamas (AYM) leads hikes too, and everyone is welcome. See separate listing in the Bulletin or check out: http://www.mazamas.org/your/adventure/starts-here/C74/ .
