Hike Schedule - Nonmember(Identical to the member schedule but without leader home phone numbers, per our Privacy policy)
TIPS of the MONTH • Winter is still with us: Remember to waterproof your boots and bring an extra layer, extra gloves and a warm hat. Gaiters and trekking poles help on slippery, wet and snowy trails. If you have questions, check out our comprehensive list of what you should bring on Mazama hikes. You can find this at: http://www.mazamas.org/your/adventure/starts-here/C459/. Also think about bringing a thermos of hot soup, cider, tea or hot chocolate. And don’t forget your chains, shovel and scraper for your car. • Leader Treats & Correct Change: Bring some treats to share on the hike with others and remember to bring the correct change for the hike charge as well as to pay for the carpooling. • Check the website for changes: Make sure to check the on-line schedule for the latest information. Hikes may change due to weather or other factors. If our hike schedule is not filled at the time of publication of the Bulletin, hike leaders may add a hike. The most up-to-date information can be found at: http://www.mazamas.org/your/adventure/starts-here/C93/. • AYM is also hiking: Adventurous Young Mazamas (AYM) leads hikes too, and everyone is welcome.
