Mt. Adams, South Side, Ski Climb!

Activity Notes

This is an AT ski and/or splitboard climb of Adams via the standard South side. I would like to be no more than 8 in number, including myself.

It will either be a 24 hour marathon climb with light packs, or it will be a two day climb; camping at Lunch Counter or just below, summiting in the early morning, and skiing back down. This will be determined by whether the road is melted out to Cold Springs or not. If not, the extra mileage can be a bit much for a continuous climb, plus camping is fun! Be prepared to snow camp. I am listing this as a two day climb just to be conservative. 

You will be responsible for your own permits. You can buy them here. Don't get them in advance because they are not limited. They are $20 and good for three days.
